Year End Wrap-Up

As 2015 comes to an end, I look back and see a successful year in my personal and writing life. My 2015 goals were not all met, but they weren't supposed to be, always plan for more than you can do, it keeps you motivated.
I did get Dark Dreams published this year after many unexpected challenges. My big challenge for 2016 is to complete and publish my first novella or novel, depending on the word count, Castle of Night will be submitted to traditional publishers for possible publication. It will be interesting to begin my education with publishing houses.
My goal of completing 20 short stories was surpassed, met my public speaking goal even though I had to cancel one event because of a family medical emergency. The other minor goals were a toss-up, some were  met others unmet. what is important to me is that the major objectives were reached and I am moving forward on new challenges and to complete some from this year beginning tomorrow.
The National Literary Habitat awarded Dark Dreams a second place plaque in their first annual book awards contest. This award made 2015 extra special and successful.
May everyone be safe on this last day of 2015 and strive for greater personal beginning January 1. 2016.
