The Latzer Memorial Library in Highland coordinated a local author book signing on November 23. There were 11 writers present for the half day fall celebration. It was a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and renew friendships with fellow writers I had met in the past year.
There were readings by a variety of authors. People stopped by various tables to discuss writing and books available for sale.
The Library did an outstanding job in providing adequate table space, a separate space for readings and activities and best of all…coffee and snacks!
As always, I bought more books that I sold, but with me, that’s to be expected. I added books to my personal library and purchased three books as Christmas gifts. In addition, I discovered a writer’s group. I plan to attend a meeting after the first of the year. At least one writes fantasy and science fiction, another adventure. It would interesting to get to know another group of writers and expand my story base.
Well...as always...More to come
